Dear friend,
It was to great acclaim that psychiatrist Lieve Thienpont earlier this year published the Dutch-language book "Libera Me, about euthanasia and psychical sufferings". By lending an ear to her patients, the book sensitively raised the issue of euthanasia in cases of intense mental suffering. 
With this message I thank you all for reading the « Libera Me » message and I formulate a special thanks to all those who financially supported our crowd funding initiative (www.dana.io/LiberaMe) to translate Lieve Thienpont’s book into English and French e-book versions.
At completion of the crowd funding initiative €7,465 was reached. Today 8 December 2015, € 8.745 is already reached. Still € 1.255 to find. Recent verbal financial support promises help us hope the desiredgoal of €10,000 will be achieved.
 
Anyway, both e-book editions are planned to be published in early 2016. So we’ll be in time for “The International Conference on Euthanasia 2016” that will be held in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, from Wednesday to Saturday, May 11-14, 2016.

C’est avec un grand succès, qu’au printemps 2015, la psychiatre Lieve Thienpont a publié en néerlandais le livre "Libera me, sur l'euthanasie et les souffrances psychiques" qui, en donnant la parole aux patients, attire avec une grande sensibilité l’attention sur la question de l'euthanasie en cas de souffrances psychiques.
 
Avec ce message, je tiens à tous vous remercier d'avoir lu le message «Libera Me» et j’en profite pour remercier tout particulièrement ceux qui ont soutenu financièrement notre initiative de financement participatif (www.dana.io/LiberaMe) en vue de traduire le livre de Lieve Thienpont en versions e-book en anglais et en français.

A l'achèvement de cette initiative le montant de 7.465 € a été atteint. Ce 08 décembre 2015, le montant atteint est de 8.745 €. Il reste 1.255 € à trouver. De récentes promesses verbales de soutien financier, nous aident à espérer que l'objectif souhaité de 10.000 € sera atteint.

De toute manière, les deux éditions e-book sont prévues être publiées début 2016. Nous serons donc prêts pour "La Conférence internationale sur l'euthanasie 2016» qui se tiendra à Amsterdam, aux Pays-Bas, du mercredi au samedi, 11 au 14 mai 2016.

Het was met groot succes dat psychiater Lieve Thienpont in het voorjaar van 2015 het boek "Libera me, over euthanasie en psychisch lijden” publiceerde. Door het geven van een stem aan patiënten, vestigt ze, met een hoge gevoeligheid, de aandacht op het probleem van euthanasie in geval van geestelijk lijden.
Met dit bericht wil ik jullie allemaal bedanken het «Libera Me» bericht gelezen te hebben en ik maak van deze gelegenheid gebruik om een speciale dank te formuleren aan al degenen die financieel onze crowdfunding initiatief (www.dana.io/LiberaMe) ondersteund hebben om het boek van Lieve Thienpont in e-book versies in het Engels en het Frans te vertalen.
Bij voltooiing van de crowdfunding initiatief bereikten we 7.465 €. Vandaag 08-december-2015, is het bereikt bedrag 8.745 €. Nog 1.255 € te vinden. Recente financiële mondelinge steun beloften laat ons hopen dat het streefdoel van 10.000 € bereikt zal worden.
Hoe dan ook zijn beide e-boek edities gepland in het voorjaar van 2016 gepubliceerd te worden. Dus zullen we op tijd zijn voor "De Internationale Conferentie over euthanasie 2016", dat zal in Amsterdam, Nederland, gehouden worden, van woensdag tot en met zaterdag, 11-14 mei 2016. http://euthanasia2016.com/
